STEEL POLE BATH TUB
Unlistenable
Reviews

Recorded in the fall of 1996, Unlistenable is the mysterious "lost album" by Steel Pole Bath Tub. Discarding all previous notions of what they should or shouldn't sound like, the band set up make shift studios in living rooms and attics before moving the operation to a small recording studio behind an auto repair shop. Shelved for over 6 years, it was termed "unlistenable" by their record label, who accused them of "losing focus" and recording "a soundtrack to nothing". The band considered it a breakthrough, the record label gave them the axe.
